What is Bodywork?

Wikipedia tells us that In alternative medicine, bodywork is any therapeutic or personal development technique that involves working with the human body in a form involving manipulative therapy, breath work, or energy medicine. Bodywork techniques also aim to assess or improve posture, promote awareness of the “body mind connection” rather than the “mind-body connection”, or to manipulate a so-called “energy field” surrounding the human body and affecting health.

In other words, body work consist of any hands on modality that engages the physical body and promotes healing, awareness and release.

Why is Bodywork important?

Your body is a sacred possession, your body is in fact the ONLY possession that you have in this life.

All the other things, like money, cars, name brands, fancy things… all those things are nice, but if you are not comfortable in your body, how  can you truly enjoy the anything.

Learning to hear the subtle voice of you body and learning to understand its language could save your life.

Learning to advocate for your body is so important for your health and wellness. Your ability to ask for what you need and get your needs taken care of is the primary reason for our existence.

We all have a mission, a purpose.
